ABOUT OUR PROGRAM: 
Under the direction of Jerry Shuck, 12 volunteers have been certified for level one instruction.  This is the official certification course of the USA Archery & National Field Archery Association.  This is the same certification used by the "Archery in the Schools" programs.

In the four week clinic, students receive "one on one" instruction on archery safety, proper shooting techniques, different types of equipment, and proper shooting line etiquette.

By the end of the clinic, many of the kids are ready to shoot in the youth league or competitions.

Many of the kids who have been through these clinics, regularly compete in state and national competitions.

PROGRAM DATES:

The clinics will run for four weeks on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm. 

Clinic 1 - January 2011

Clinic 2 - February 2011

Class size will be limited to 24 students.  Equipment will be provided by the club for those in need.

If are planning to purchase equipment for your child, consider waiting until after the first session.  We have different bows for them to try to see what is best for them.

The first clinic will be geared for beginner archers of any age or the younger kids from last season’s clinics.   Equipment will be provided by the club for those in need. The second session will be geared toward youth archers who have attended prior clinics.

The fee for the 4 week clinic will be $20.00. Make your check payable to Tuscarora Archers and mail it to:

Due to the popularity of the clinics, please only sign your child up for a single series of clinics.

When you register, please send the students name, address, your email address, phone number, age, right or left  handed, and tell me if he /she has equipment.  

 The YOUTH ARCHERY LEAGUE will begin TBD and run for 8 weeks.  This league will be limited to 24 shooters and is intended for shooters who are comfortable shooting in a youth competitive environment.  The fee for the league will be $30.00.  You need to have participated a clinic in order to shoot in the league.  You also must have your own  archery equipment and arrows.
